1. Some new horn speakers need to be used for a period of time before they can fully demonstrate their excellent performance, which is known as the "pot". Otherwise, its playback sound may appear too hard and bright, or it may become too tight to release. This time process can vary greatly for different speaker horn, ranging from tens of hours to tens of days.

2. Due to physical limitations, the low frequency dynamic range of a small bookshelf loudspeaker horn cannot be too large. Therefore, even if its low frequency extension is very low, its practical significance is not significant. It can be seen that pursuing the low frequency limit of a small speaker may not achieve ideal results, and it is not suitable for the replay of pop music.

3. There are two common types of nominal impedance for speakers: 4 Ω and 8 Ω. A horn loudspeaker with a 4 Ω impedance can output higher power from the power amplifier, but due to the high demand for the output current capacity of the power amplifier when the impedance is low, it often causes distortion to some power amplifiers with small power margin. Moreover, low impedance speakers are not conducive to damping and can affect low-frequency control force. In addition, the impedance of some speakers may decrease to less than half of the value at certain frequencies during actual operation, so it is best to choose a speaker with an impedance of 8 Ω. (For example, the load impedance of many AV amplifiers cannot be lower than 6 Ω)

4. Although the speaker of a small caliber speaker unit can achieve excellent listening performance, this type of speaker is only suitable for close range listening. For rooms with larger spaces, such as halls, large speakers with larger caliber speaker units should be selected to achieve good listening effects.

5. The dumbbell speaker adopts two identical mid to low frequency speaker units, symmetrically arranged on both sides of the high-frequency unit, which can achieve good low-frequency and transient response, high sensitivity and power bearing capacity. The large dynamic nonlinear distortion is small, but its mid range comprehensive frequency characteristics often have valleys and narrow vertical directionality, so its mid range performance should be noted. However, in some dumbbell speakers, the lower unit is only used for replaying low frequencies, while the upper unit replays medium and low frequencies, known as 2.5 division, which can overcome the above shortcomings.

6. A dual line audio splitter speaker has two sets of speaker terminals. If used as a regular connection, the two sets of terminals are connected in parallel. At this time, the speaker wires must be connected to the pair of terminals of the mid to low frequency unit. Otherwise, due to the influence of the connecting wires or copper plates used for the parallel connection of the two sets of terminals, the low-frequency replay effect will be mostly lost.

7. The floor mounted speaker is placed on the ground, but it often affects the balance of the replayed sound due to ground resonance, and even causes bass boom. Therefore, in most cases, foot nails are indispensable. Most pedestal speakers require a foot stand with a suitable height, which can be placed casually on the table cabinet. Due to the reflection of sound waves, the playback characteristics of the speakers often change. A speaker with a mirror symmetrical design for the high-frequency unit (i.e. the high-frequency unit is not in the center of the baffle), and the high-frequency unit should lean inward during positioning.

8. It is better to use three pieces of foam Double-sided tape between the speaker and the tripod, stick it to the bottom of the speaker in a triangular position, and then put it on the tripod, so that the speaker has a certain adhesion to the tripod. Otherwise, the sound may be accidentally introduced during use
