How does the impedance sound of the speaker reflect the problem

2022 09/19

The organic combination of subjective hearing and objective testing will make it possible to fully and truly reflect the evaluated product, instead of making empty, one-sided or even exaggerated, superficial, out of nothing generalizations and exaggerations. However, for now, only the frequency response curve is concerned, and the apparent impedance curve is discussed. In fact, the impedance characteristics of horn speakers are really important, and many hearing defects can be reflected from the impedance curve.

The main technical parameters of the PA loudspeaker system are generally marked with impedance, usually 4 ω or 8 ω. This value refers to the rated impedance and is a purely resistive value. The standard GB7313-87 stipulates that the impedance value series are 4, 8, and 16 ω. The impedance of a horn speaker system is a complex issue. I am afraid that it cannot be explained clearly in tens of thousands of words, and it is too professional and difficult to understand. Describes the relationship between impedance characteristics and sound performance.
Speaker Horn
If the impedance curve of the inverter box does not have obvious double peaks or single peaks, either the design itself is defective or the manufacturing process is wrong. When the volume of the box is too large, sometimes the high frequency peak in the double impedance peak is obviously larger than the low frequency peak, and the sound wave radiated by the inverter tube is too small, so that the resonant frequency of the whole system is too low. At this time, the low frequency dive seems to be very deep, but it still feels insufficient and powerless. If the low frequency peak in the double impedance peak is obviously larger than the high frequency peak, it means that the sound wave radiation of the inverter tube is too strong. At this time, the low frequency has been artificially raised, and the sense of volume is large, but the transient response will be poor, and the layering of the low frequency band will be greatly destroyed, with "quantity" but no "quality".
