The understanding of voice is more subtle. We can distinguish between strangers and acquaintances, people who are familiar with us, and even "if you don't see them, you can hear their voices". The arrival of a person's acquaintance can only be accurately identified by the sound of footsteps, door pushing and coughing. The auditory impression corresponding to this difference is called timbre. All kinds of voices have their own characteristics, which are mysterious and invisible. There are all kinds of sounds in the world. There are all kinds of musical instruments that have been renovated in different places. Naturally, there are different timbres. Timbre is also related to the composition and structure of sound. The composition of sound is simple, Z is pure tone, and there are few pure tones in nature. The soft voice is not music, but a sound composed of various components, with richer timbre. All kinds of musical instruments (except for electronic instruments first) do not emit pure tones with single frequency and single vibration. The sound of an instrument is generally composed of harmonics that are integral multiples of pitch. Almost all sounds in nature are complex tones, including harmonics and noises of different amplitudes, thus forming different timbres.
The reason why there are different sounds, in terms of composition, is that each sound has different components. It will have many harmonics and noises; These harmonics and noises may or may not be regular. In terms of time structure, the relationship between diaphragm and time is different due to their different shapes. This combination of changes is endless. A good loudspeaker plays back the timbre characteristics of the music itself without distortion. The speaker speaker shall reproduce the sound without distortion, and the reproduction sound shall be true, but the compromise between the two will form a variety of speaker speakers.
The playing sound quality of the loudspeaker mainly depends on the diaphragm material.
As far as the commonly used loudspeaker is concerned, its objective test index mainly depends on its structure and geometric shape. The sound quality depends on the loudspeaker diaphragm material, the type of diaphragm material and its physical properties. For example; For B&W 801, the low frequency unit diaphragm was originally made of aluminum alloy. Although the test result was good, the subjective sound quality evaluation was not so ideal, so the paper frame diaphragm mixed with 10% fiber was used.
According to the loudspeaker, the sound quality of the diaphragm depends on three indicators of the diaphragm material: elasticity (elastic modulus e), density (p), and proper internal damping of the diaphragm material. That is to say, we hope its elastic modulus E is high, its density P is small, and it also needs appropriate internal damping. In this way, the loudspeaker has fast propagation speed, fast rise, proper internal damping, damping of unnecessary clutter, fast vibration suppression and drop, and clean and soft sound. But gold is not enough, no one is perfect. There is no ideal diaphragm material in the world. For example, steel alloy diaphragm has high elastic modulus, low density, fast vibration response and strong explosive force to sound. But the damping in the metal is very small, it is difficult to stop the vibration quickly, and the sound is not clean. On the contrary, for pulp materials, the sound is soft and medium, rising slowly, but falling fast and not very strong. At the same time, it is difficult to meet the requirements of materials with large E/p and sufficient internal damping. With the development of material technology in recent years, many new materials have emerged. For example, in addition to the traditional paper pulp, glass fiber, Kevlar fiber (bulletproof cloth), some conical vibration membranes also use TPX, HD-A, HD-1 and other composite materials, making great progress in performance.

Therefore, if there are different diaphragm materials and loudspeakers, they will have different sound quality. Or, if there are 10000 different types of diaphragms and loudspeakers, there will be 10000 different characteristics.
