How to make the PA Loudspeaker sound good

2022 12/06

As we all know, soon after the horn speaker metal is exposed to the air, the surface will be oxidized, lose luster and become dull. Even though the signal wire plug is not easy to oxidize after being plated with gold and is in close contact with the body plug, it will still be oxidized to some extent to cause poor contact after a long time, so it should be cleaned every six months. As long as the cotton is dipped in alcohol to smear the contact, after this heavy work, the contact can be restored to contact, and the sound will be clear and transparent.

Rule 2 Cleaning the CD player laser head

Obviously, the laser head has only a small area, but it can read the marks on the disc, so only a small amount of dust will affect the accuracy of the reading signal. Although most CD players are sealed, don't forget that there is a gap for dust to take advantage of in the process of frequently releasing and loading CD players. After a period of time, there will be more or less dust on the head surface. At this time, you need to screw on the cover, open the cover, and clean it directly with cotton swab and alcohol. When your CD player that has not been washed for a long time is cleaned, it will give you a feeling of yarn opening when you listen again. The high frequency will be very clear and the details will be beautiful. This head cleaning procedure needs to be done once a year. Even with the Pioneer's inverted turntable system (the laser head is downward rather than upward), the dust will still be attracted by the static electricity brought by the head and stick to it, so this time will not be saved.

Rule 3 Avoid duplication as much as possible

Because of environmental problems, I have no choice but to stack the equipment. If possible, CD sound source and amplifier should be placed independently as far as possible, because overlapping placement will cause resonance and affect the machine. When the horn loudspeaker plays music, the vibrating air will cause the device to follow the vibration. When the two machines overlap, they will transmit harmonic vibration to each other, blurring the subtle information in the music, interfering with the transmission of various frequency bands, and producing a sound pollution. Another example is a CD player. The continuous rotation of the motor itself will increase the amplitude of harmonic vibration when playing a disc, which will have a greater impact. Therefore, the equipment shall be placed on a stable rack independently.

4. Keep the distance between the power supply and the main unit and the mono rear stage.

Now even many middle priced front stage have a box size split power supply, which simply divides the Taurus and the mainframe into two parts. The advantage is that it can isolate the possible interference between the internal parts and the fire cow. It would be meaningless to put the split power supply beside the front stage. Please stay away from the front desk as soon as possible. If it is placed on a rack on another layer, the overall isolation can be heard to improve in real time, and the audio and video will be more accurate. The same is true in the later stage of mono. Conditionally, two pieces of equipment are placed separately.

Rule 5 Cancel the CD player's adjustable volume output

Many single CD players are equipped with an adjustable volume output, so you can use the remote control to control the volume. If the adjustable output is not needed, it can be canceled, even the headphone output device in the front of the body can be canceled at the same time. The two sets of signal outputs are separated by the main signal. Once cancelled, when only a set of fixed volume outputs are used, there is no need to dilute the energy output from the signal, the sound will be cleaner than before, and the sense of force will be better. It is not complicated to abolish these two sets of output modes. Just open the cover and pull out the relevant connecting wires in the machine.

6. The less interference, the better the sound.

Indoor household appliances and computers should avoid sharing a set of power supply with the stereo. Even if they are put together, they should also get power from other places.

Secondly, the winding of wires will also make the wires absorb noise from each other and damage the sound quality. Whether it is equipment or connecting wire, it shall be free from interference of other appliances or power lines. 7. Ruler horn setting

The placement of PA loudspeaker is an important part in the use of audio, and improper placement will inevitably lead to a great discount in the playback effect. How to find the place in the room is quite laborious. In addition to carefully listening to the effects of different placement positions, you can also ask relevant experts for guidance.

Rule 8 A dark environment helps with hearing.

It is customary to turn off the lights and listen to music. It can be said that it has nothing to do with playing. Only in the dark environment, the ears will be particularly sensitive and the visual barrier will be reduced. The sound and picture reorganization and the position sense of the instrument will be particularly clear. A good atmosphere is far from the time to turn on the lights. Other dim lights can also be used to create an atmosphere for listening.

Sound absorption rule

In the general family environment, furniture and sundries are already sound absorbing materials, and carpeting basically enhances the sound absorption effect. The advantage of adding carpet is that it can reduce the reflected sound of the floor and avoid the turbidity caused by the mixing of sound from the front. If you want to know whether the room needs to be carpeted, you can know how the sound will change when it is laid on the floor. When the horn is too close to the back wall, you can also consider adding a tapestry to increase the sound absorption effect, but be careful not to use too large a piece, even the frequency may be absorbed. In addition, the glass and mirror in the room have a strong function of reflecting sound, which needs to be covered with curtains to solve the problem. Those with high requirements may as well absorb more sound at corners and indoor sound reflection points, but pay attention to sound absorption. Proper reflection will help to make the sound vigorous and lively.
