Disruption failure of paper cone: this failure can be found through direct inspection, and the electronic alarm loudspeaker horn with this failure should be replaced.
Poor sound quality fault: this is the soft fault of the speaker. Usually, no obvious fault features can be found, but the sound is not pleasant. The defective speaker should be replaced.
In amateur conditions, only audition and multimeter can be used to test the horn speaker.
The method of audition is to connect the speaker to the output of the power amplifier and subjectively evaluate its quality by listening to the sound.
It is also rough to measure the electronic alarm loudspeaker with a multimeter.
Measuring DC resistance: Measure the DC resistance between the two pins of the loudspeaker with gear R * 1, which should be slightly less than the impedance of the nameplate loudspeaker under normal conditions. For example, an 8 ohm speaker typically measures approximately 7 ohms of resistance. The measured resistance value is far greater than its nominal resistance value, indicating that the loudspeaker has been damaged.
Listen to the click: When measuring the DC resistance, disconnect the pin of a meter bar intermittently, and you should hear the click from the speaker. The louder the better. If there is no such sound, the speaker voice coil is stuck.
Visual inspection: check whether the electronic alarm loudspeaker has a broken paper cone.
