1: The sound field of the whole hall needs to be even.
2: The feedback shall be overcome as strongly as possible to improve the transmission gain.
3: The layout shall be as simple as possible to facilitate maintenance and adjustment of coverage angle.
4: The audio and visual directions of the speakers should be consistent, and the sound should be warm and natural.
5: Cover the whole area according to the speaker coverage angle (4kHz, 8kHz is 6dB axial drop).
6: The sound emitted by the loudspeaker is delayed by 5~30ms compared with the natural sound source.
After a brief understanding of loudspeaker layout principle in audio technology, let's take a look at some knowledge of its layout mode.
Centralized horn loudspeaker layout. When using this arrangement, you need to pay attention to two points:
1: People who need to set up a stage and require the same audio-visual effect.
2: It is not suitable to distribute those limited by buildings and shapes.
In both cases, we can centrally arrange speakers. The other is decentralized arrangements. We can adopt this arrangement in the following two cases.
1. The lobby in the building is clear and tall, with long vertical distance, or the lobby may be divided into several parts for use, so centralized layout is not suitable.
2: The reverberation time in the hall is long, which is not suitable for centralized layout.
In addition to the above two speaker arrangements, there is another arrangement in audio technology, namely, mixed arrangement. We can adopt a hybrid approach in the following cases:
① For theaters with aisles or seats too deep, the auxiliary speaker system should be arranged in the sheltered part.
② For large or long distance building halls, in addition to centralized loudspeakers, auxiliary PA loudspeaker should be distributed.
③ Audience is everywhere in the audio-visual hall.
